Our Creative Process

 
  • Nice to meet you and thank you for your inquiry! We delve deep into understanding your brand identity, objectives, and audience. This initial exploration sets the foundation for our creative journey, ensuring what services you’re interested in with your vision and goals in mind.

  • Before diving into the creative process, it's essential to establish a solid foundation through a clear proposal and project agreement. This phase sets the stage for collaboration, ensuring alignment on project scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgetary considerations.

  • We'll provide you with a questionnaire form to further explore the initial ideas discussed during our discovery call. Once it’s submitted, we'll meet to develop creative video and photo concepts in more detail. Together, we'll collaborate on defining scenes, selecting necessary set design materials, determining the mood and pacing of the videos, outlining key takeaways for viewers, specifying content usage, and addressing any additional considerations.

  • Taking the ideas we talked about from our conversation in the strategy meeting into the beginning stages of action. We’ll develop a pre-production treatment for you to review and sign off on. This includes a mood board, detailed shot lists, and voiceover scripts if needed to help you gain a better understanding of what the final produced content will look like. Once approved, you'll send your products to our studio. We'll then schedule production dates for filming and photography for your custom production.

  • Your beautiful products are now in our hands at the studio and ready to be put on camera. Now it’s time for "Lights, Camera, ACTION!”. You also have the option to remotely join the shoot if you'd prefer. We meticulously craft the set assembling lighting fixtures, set design materials, cameras, sliders, tripods, and any additional equipment essential for capturing your content.

  • While much of the groundwork has already been completed, the most time-intensive tasks occur during the post-production phase. It's during this stage that your videos and photos are brought to life through handling things such as color correction, retouching footage or stills, adding music, sound effects, voiceovers, incorporating text, and creating custom motion graphics.

  • You'll now have a chance to review and share your thoughts with us on the rough drafts we send you. Since everything was signed off on in pre-production, there typically aren't major changes that occur at this stage. If needed, we'll make minor revisions to your liking. Upon approval, it’s time to do a happy dance. Your content is ready to be shared with the world!

Tyler Lidwell

My name is Tyler Lidwell, founder of Lidwell Creative.

I’ve worked with all types of CPG brands, bringing their brand vision and products to life by creating scroll-stopping visuals, delivering results, and ensuring happy clients every step of the way. I’ll only take on projects and build relationships with a mutual appreciation of high-quality and purpose-filled content. One thing that’s always been most important to me is following my passions first and foremost.

This brings me into the studio almost daily to test and experiment with different video concepts, rigging devices, and shot ideas. Visualizing small magic moments and turning them into reality has always inspired me. I proudly specialize in bringing my formidable experience to anything involving tabletop, with a primary focus on food and beverage. Every commercial, when done correctly, is a chance to showcase your brand to your viewers in a way you never thought was possible.

Atreyu Hasenstab

Production Assistant, Gaffer, Food & Drink Stylist

My name is Atreyu Hasenstab, and I work with Tyler to ensure production efficiency. Every project demands extreme attention to detail, which requires additional crew.

While Tyler is engaged with cinematography and directing each shot with the overall end product in mind, I am paying close attention to the lighting and set design of the commercial. Have you ever thought of paying attention to issues such as dust, wrinkles, reflections, droplets, levels, sheens, oxidation, or viscosity? I look out for these variables while also setting up lights, designing the scenes, and establishing set safety.

I bring my professional experience from a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the University of Arizona, five years of experience in the film industry, working on large-budget productions, and becoming an award-winning editor from Adobe.
